This Privacy Policy explains how AgentShelf ("we," "our," or "us") handles personal information when you visit agentshelf.ai, submit a website form, or use the public website assistant. Separate product or customer terms may apply to the AgentShelf application.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
We collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, business email, phone number, company, website, job function, company size, requested use case, assistant messages, and other details included in a contact, waitlist, newsletter, lead, or assistant form.
Information Collected from the Website
We may process browser type, device and operating-system information, IP address, page URL, referring URL, timestamps, language, form status, and security or diagnostic events. Depending on your optional choices, we may also process durable visitor and visit identifiers and cross-page assistant context for assistant personalization; assistant page and session traces, interaction analytics, and session-replay data for analytics; and campaign or referral attribution for advertising.
Public Website Assistant
When you use the assistant, we process prompts, responses, conversation and session identifiers, tool activity, and any contact details you submit. We also supply a sanitized current page path, title, site area, and locale so the assistant can respond to the page where you invoked it. Durable recognition, cross-page history, and proactive engagement are used only when assistant personalization is allowed; campaign parameters are used only when advertising is allowed. Assistant requests are sent to AgentShelf's application services and configured AI model infrastructure. The model provider can vary with the assistant configuration. Voice input, connected integrations, or external tools are processed only when those features are offered and you choose to use them.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide the website, assistant, and features you request;
- respond to contact, sales, waitlist, newsletter, and support requests;
- protect the website, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot failures;
- recognize a visitor across pages and personalize or proactively offer assistant help when assistant personalization is allowed;
- measure and improve website performance when analytics is allowed;
- measure campaigns and conversions when advertising is allowed; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
We do not add contact-form details to marketing lists unless the form is specifically for a subscription or you make a separate marketing choice.
3. When We Disclose Information
We disclose information to service providers that support hosting, security, form delivery, assistant personalization, analytics, advertising, communications, and AI processing. Website providers may include Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, and YouTube), Microsoft (Clarity), LinkedIn (Insight Tag), Cloudflare (Turnstile), and AgentShelf's configured hosting and AI infrastructure providers. Optional assistant-personalization, analytics, and advertising processing occurs only after the applicable website choice.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a corporate transaction, or at your direction. We do not disclose personal information for money. Some advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain U.S. state laws; Cookie Settings and recognized GPC signals control that activity where applicable.
4. Legal Bases
Depending on where you live and the activity, we rely on consent, performance of a requested service or contract, compliance with law, and legitimate interests such as security, responding to requests, and improving non-optional service operations. You may withdraw consent for future processing through Cookie Settings.
5. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, applicable service configuration, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. Browser-side referral attribution is configured for up to 60 days and a consented durable visitor identifier for up to 180 days. Assistant visit linkage and engagement state generally last for the browser session or the configured engagement cooldown. Website-assistant conversations, leads, security records, and provider records may use different periods. Contact privacy@agentshelf.ai for the period applicable to a particular record.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; and appeal a denied request. Applicable exceptions may limit a request.
Use Cookie Settings in the footer to manage optional website technologies. We honor recognized Global Privacy Control signals as an applicable opt-out of sale or sharing and targeted advertising. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe method.
To submit a privacy request, email privacy@agentshelf.ai. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy or data-protection regulator.
8. International Processing
AgentShelf and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use an applicable transfer mechanism or other legally recognized safeguard. Contact us for information about a transfer relevant to your data.
9. Children
The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
10. Third-Party Services
Third-party sites, embedded media, integrations, and services have their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information to them. See our Cookie Policy for website technology details.
11. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy and revise the date above. When required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.
